What we offer

Planning services for frontier sites

Five defined engagements covering integrated resource-site planning, corridor readiness, and pre-development support. Each is scoped, priced as a range, and delivered with a named partner where a licence is required.

Our services

Integrated resource-site planning

Five discrete engagements, from a two-week desk study to monthly pre-development support. Priced by scope, quoted before work begins.

From $15,000

Integrated Site Concept Plan

A concept-level master plan for one site with microgrid, corridor, and camp or town layout, plus phased cost ranges.

From $5,000

Corridor and Customs Readiness Review

A review of road, rail, port, customs, and tracking gaps along one commodity route, for an operator or a 3PL.

Sectors we plan across

Four disciplines, one integrated plan

Frontier sites need mining, energy, construction, and logistics answered together, at concept stage. We coordinate across all four so the plan is coherent before the first contractor is engaged.

01
Mining

Site screening and integrated concept planning

We map power options, logistics routes, and permitting paths for mine sites at concept stage. We work with a licensed local engineering partner, named before the work starts. We do not act as engineer of record.

02
Energy

Microgrid and off-grid power planning

We size microgrid options against site load profiles and identify grid-connection constraints at concept level. Our work feeds directly into investor and permitting packages. We do not design or commission power systems.

03
Construction

Camp and town layout at concept scale

We develop phased camp and workforce-town layouts as part of the integrated site concept plan. Cost ranges are concept-level and clearly labelled as estimates. We coordinate with civil and structural teams but do not lead those scopes.

04
Logistics

Corridor and customs readiness review

We review road, rail, port, customs, and tracking gaps along a commodity route and identify the points that will delay a project. The output is a structured gap list for operators and 3PLs. We do not manage freight or act as a logistics agent.

All four scopes addressed in a single integrated plan

Common questions

Scope, credentials, and how we engage

Plain answers to the questions operators ask before they commit to a study.

We work at concept and pre-feasibility stage, before the licensed engineer of record is appointed. Our desk studies and concept plans give operators and investors the information they need to decide whether a site is worth committing to full study costs. We do not carry work past concept level.

Urban Core Industries is a planning and advisory firm. We are not a licensed engineering firm. Where our scope requires a licensed local engineer — such as the Integrated Site Concept Plan — we name a licensed local engineering partner before work begins, and that partner signs what they are qualified to sign.

No. We do not own, build, finance, or operate mines, grids, roads, ports, or camps. Our scope is planning and advisory only. We produce studies and concept plans that help operators and investors make informed decisions. Execution, ownership, and operations are entirely outside our scope.

Our current focus is frontier and resource regions in South America and Africa, where infrastructure gaps are common and integrated resource-site planning adds the most value. We take enquiries from outside these regions on a case-by-case basis.

All prices shown are our estimates and starting points. Each engagement is quoted individually based on site complexity, route length, border count, and the scope we agree with you. Site Screening Brief: $2500.00. Territorial Framework Workshop: $4000.00. Corridor and Customs Readiness Review: $5000.00. Pre-Development Retainer: $5000.00 per month. Integrated Site Concept Plan: $15000.00. We publish these ranges so you can qualify fit before we talk.

Send us a brief description of your site or corridor, your country, and the stage you are at. Use the inquiry form on this page or email us directly. We will respond within two business days with an initial scope outline or a request for more information before we commit to a quote.
